Discovery Series – Tennessee

This is the first, non-Disney mug from the brand-new Discovery Series. In my earlier post, I cautiously suggested that the Disney Parks releases is just the beginning of the new collection. I later saw rumors about more Discovery Series mugs coming out on April 9, which got me excited. Well, it seems there is no need to wait another three weeks, as the Discovery Series – Tennessee was spotted in stores today. There is no doubt that more states and cities are on their way to being released.… Read more

Been There – Mississippi 3

While the new mugs keep coming regularly, Starbucks continues revising its existing inventory by releasing updated versions of some of its Been There mugs. In a way, it became a hallmark of this series. Yes, we’ve seen some YAHs updated, but all those were exceptions caused by some legal reasons. And of course, that doesn’t apply to Disney YAHs, which we’ve seen plenty of.

Alright, so, Starbucks Been There – Mississippi 3 is the updated version of the previously released mug.… Read more

Been There – Japan

It has been a while since the release of the Starbucks Been There – Japan mug, and I have no excuse for not adding it to the collection. Similar to the YAH series, the Japan country mug is unique in the sense, that it has four siblings representing four seasons of the year: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. I will be adding those four to the collection soon.

The design of this “regular” mug uses red and yellow colors. Here are some symbols of Japan that I am seeing on it:

Fuji, also known as Mount Fuji, is Japan’s iconic stratovolcano and the country’s tallest peak, standing at 12,389 ft.… Read more
