You Are Here – Karlovy Vary

I suspect that Starbucks You Are Here Karlovy Vary mug was planned a long time ago, but considering the circumstances, this release was delayed. I very much like this nice design with soft colors and certain bright red spots. Those symbolize the fall colors of the mountains that surround the city and also the red roofs of its buildings.
Karlovy Vary is the most visited spa town in the Czech Republic with numerous hot springs. The German name of the city is Karlsbad and it had a mostly German-speaking population till 1945,
Here are some points of interest that designers of the mug were inspired by:
– The front of the mug showcases the historical buildings of the city. You might want to stroll along the Tepla river and Vridelni street to enjoy the atmosphere of the resort.
– Karlovy Vary has many springs with mineral water. You may drink the water directly from the spring fountains all around the city, however, make sure to consult about the optimal way of using mineral water as a drinking cure. The spring and fountain are depicted on the side and the back of the mug.
– The rock with the deer on the top of it, is the Deer Jump, an observation deck located in the center of the resort. It offers great panoramic views of the whole city.
