Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Geonosis

And last but not least in the trio is the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Geonosis. Now that I think about it, we have four Star Wars Discovery mugs, but only three ornaments. For some reason, Starbucks never released an ornament for the Hoth mug. Is that something we can still expect in the future? I really hope so.

Geonosis holds a significant place in the Star Wars universe as the spark that ignited the Clone Wars. Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Kashyyyk

This is the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Kashyyyk that resembles the large mug but has fewer characters depicted in the design.

Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees, plays an important part in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. During the Clone Wars, it becomes one of the battlegrounds between the Republic and the Separatists. Jedi Master Yoda is sent there to help lead the defence alongside the Wookiees, including Chewbacca.

Similar to the other mini mugs in this series, the design of the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Tatooine features fewer elements compared to the larger mugs. These new ornaments come in a set of three — Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Geonosis—and cannot be purchased separately. I almost forgot to add Discovery Series Star Wars – Geonosis to my wish list. It is the third mug from the Star Wars collection which was released on May 4th, 2025 along with Kashyyyk and Tatooine.

Geonosis holds major significance in the Star Wars franchise as the birthplace of the Clone Wars. It was on this desert planet that the first large-scale battle between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists erupted in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Geonosis is also where the secret construction of the first Death Star began and where Count Dooku and the Separatists plotted in secret.… Read more

The second mug from the recently announced trio is the Discovery Series Star Wars – Kashyyyk. What I like about these is that the circle on the front of the mug has a custom color, depending on the planet. It is, unfortunately, not the case for the state and city mugs – they all have the same dark green color circle.
