While Starbucks is releasing quite a few mugs from the new collection on a daily basis, I’m trying to share the most interesting ones with you first. Discovery Series – Warner Bros. Studios is a good example of a location that didn’t receive Starbucks mugs before. I haven’t seen the ornament yet, but I really hope it comes out soon. Interestingly enough, the bottom of the mug has a small ‘Warner Bros.’ logo that distinguishes it from other Discovery mugs; however, the box is standard.… Read more

Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Geonosis

And last but not least in the trio is the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Geonosis. Now that I think about it, we have four Star Wars Discovery mugs, but only three ornaments. For some reason, Starbucks never released an ornament for the Hoth mug. Is that something we can still expect in the future? I really hope so.

Geonosis holds a significant place in the Star Wars universe as the spark that ignited the Clone Wars. Introduced in Episode II: Attack of the Clones, this desert-like planet was the site of pivotal events involving major characters, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Jango Fett, among others.… Read more

Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Kashyyyk

This is the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Kashyyyk that resembles the large mug but has fewer characters depicted in the design.

Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees, plays an important part in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. During the Clone Wars, it becomes one of the battlegrounds between the Republic and the Separatists. Jedi Master Yoda is sent there to help lead the defence alongside the Wookiees, including Chewbacca.

Starbucks has opened its first store in Iceland, located inside the Alda Hotel on Reykjavík’s main shopping street, Laugavegur. This marks the brand’s official entry into the Icelandic market, bringing its signature coffee experience to both locals and tourists. There is also the exclusive mug released alongside the store launch, You Are Here — Iceland. I can’t wait to add this beauty to my collection!

Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Tatooine

As I mentioned earlier, the large Star Wars mugs are accompanied by a set of ornaments. Similar to the other mini mugs in this series, the design of the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Tatooine features fewer elements compared to the larger mugs. These new ornaments come in a set of three — Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Geonosis—and cannot be purchased separately. I almost forgot to add Discovery Series Star Wars – Geonosis to my wish list. It is the third mug from the Star Wars collection which was released on May 4th, 2025 along with Kashyyyk and Tatooine.

Geonosis holds major significance in the Star Wars franchise as the birthplace of the Clone Wars. It was on this desert planet that the first large-scale battle between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists erupted in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Discovery Series – University of Hawaii

Discovery Series – University of Hawaii is the second mug from the Campus Collection that I’ve recently come across. It seems that Starbucks is continuing its trend of releasing mugs for universities that previously didn’t have any. It is very important to note that the box is custom for all the mugs from this collection. There is also “campus collection” writing on the bottom, along with the picture of a mortarboard. You Are Here Ornament – Italia

Along with an updated mug for the capital city, Starbucks has also released a new version of the country ornament! A brand-new design was spotted in stores, and it appears to be replacing the previous one. You Are Here Ornament – Italia uses the name Italians actually use for their country. Interestingly, I haven’t seen the larger mug yet, but I’m sure it’s coming soon.

The name “Italia” has ancient roots, tracing back to the Greeks, who referred to a portion of Southern Italy as “Italói,” possibly derived from a word meaning “calf” or “young bull.” This symbol, often associated with fertility and strength, may reflect the region’s pastoral richness.… Read more
