Been There – Medellin

Here’s Starbucks Been There Medellin mug and some symbols of this town. I am purposely avoiding talking about what this town is mostly known for (especially for foreigners) since the city is changing for the better and is trying hard to improve its image.
– Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture – houses cultural programs such as concerts, conferences and art exhibitions.
– Point Zero Bridge, decorated with a plumb-bob, symbolizes the center of the city and the point of origin for the surveying and numbering of Medellín
– Metrocable – a gondola lift system implemented in order to connect hard-to-reach metro areas to city center. It has dramatically decreased the commute time for residents of certain barrios (neighbourhoods).
– The Coltejer Building, the tallest building in Medellín
