Here’s Starbucks Been There Ornament Connecticut. It has blue string and for the mug, designers used orange and blue colors. What do we see on the front:
– Lifering, a.k.a. lifebuoy – I am not exactly sure how is it related to Connecticut. An interesting fact though, it is believed it was Leonardo da Vinci who invented it.
– The Connecticut State Capitol, located in Hartford, houses the Connecticut General Assembly; the upper house, the State Senate, and lower house, the House of Representatives, as well as the office of the Governor of the State of Connecticut.
– The Charter Oak was an unusually large white oak tree growing on Wyllys Hyll in Hartford. It fell during a storm in 1856 and was believed to be 600-700 years old. According to the local legend, Connecticut’s Royal Charter of 1662 was hidden within the hollow of the tree to avoid its confiscation by the English governor-general.
– American robin – the state bird of Connecticut.
– Hamburger – Louis’ Lunch is a hamburger restaurant in New Haven, which claims to be the first restaurant to serve hamburgers and as being the oldest hamburger restaurant still operating in the U.S.
