Ever wondered what’s wrong with Ottawa and why it has never gotten any mug? Well, I won’t be able to answer that question but I am pleased to announce, soon-to-be-released, Starbucks Been There Ottawa mug. Really? š Ottawa has four, and sometimes up to six, month long winters (viz. 2017-18) . And only the one winter tchotchke, a skate!
And the bison (aka “buffalo”) is getting good representation Alberta, Wyoming, Manitoba AND Winnipeg. And let’s not forget that displaced prairie state, New York: the last time I saw a “buffalo” in NY was on the flip side of a nickel!
I’m not sure how locals would rate their mugs but I’m disappointed in what I see here.
Sad that there isnāt any indigenous representation, considering Ottawa is on Algonquin territory!!! Sad, sad, sad!!!
