Landmarks from the mug:
– “bixie” sculpture at Xiao Xiu’s tomb (518 CE). Stone sculpture of the southern dynasties is widely considered as the city’s icon.
– Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum – finished in 1929 is the tomb of Dr. Sun – the “Father of Modern China” – who ended the monarchy, and founded the Republic of China after the 1911 revolution.
– Nanjing Eye – built in 2014, this pedestrian bridge connects the Cultural and Sports Park of Youth Olympic Games in Hexi New Town of Nanjing.
