I would like to thank my reader, who kindly provided the image of Starbucks You Are Here – Rabat mug. The release of this mug is another proof that YAH series still has some steam!
The mug is designed using some colors and showcases the Chellah or Shalla on the front. This fortress was built in pre-Roman and pre-Islamic times, then abandoned in 1154 AD. It was later used as a necropolis, a holy complex that included a mosque, minaret (can be seen on the top of the front of the mug), and royal tombs. Due to the long history, there are many different types of architecture from various centuries here. You are going to enjoy this place even if you are not an avid historian.
