Starbucks You Are Here – Bengbu is a mug for the city in northern Anhui Province, China. The name of the city literally translates as “Clam Wharf” or “Oyster Quay”, hence the nickname – Pearl city. From what I understand, Bengbu used to be known for a freshwater pearl fishery. If you happen to visit this city, it is highly recommended to try a local meal which is river crayfish cooked with lots of spices.
