Discovery Series Wicked Ornament – Shiz University

Discovery Series Wicked Ornament – Shiz University comes in a custom box with the other two ornaments from the Wicked-inspired set. Similarly to bigger mugs, the partnership between Starbucks and Wicked brands is emphasized with the addition of the trademark inside the mini mug. The box cover has “Wicked” branding on it as well.

The front of the ornament features a navy blazer (university uniform), books, and some sort of racket.

The back of the ornament showcases the cart with magic potion bottles. That seems to be the reference that at Shiz University, Elphaba discovered and cultivated her innate magical abilities under unique circumstances. Though initially placed in Madame Morrible’s sorcery seminar primarily to watch over her sister Nessarose, Elphaba’s raw talent soon became evident through powerful but uncontrolled outbursts of magic. These moments revealed her natural affinity for spellcraft, particularly when her emotions ran high. Through dedicated study and practice, she learned to harness these abilities, transforming from someone who unconsciously channeled magic into a skilled practitioner who could intentionally direct her powers.
