Starbucks You Are Here – Beijing – one of 23 Chinese mugs released in September 2017.
Huge city, which 22 million people call home is the capital of China. It’s the largest city in the world by area and second most populous.
Even though many know it as a modern city of contemporary architecture, Beijing has a really rich history, going back to 11th century BC – times when it’s predecessor – town of Ji was founded.
This is why, and I really love it, Starbucks placed historical points of interest on the mug:
– The Great Wall of China – probably one of the most popular attractions in China. It is the longest building in the world (8,851,800 m)
– Temple of heaven – imperial complex of religious buildings built from 1406 to 1420

The inside of the mug is red.
