Starbucks You Are Here – Suzhou – is one of 23 Chinese mugs released in September 2017.
Suzhou is the major city in the East China located close to Shanghai (less than 50 miles). It is facing Lake Tai (Taihu) and is known as a major touristic attraction due to its canals, pagodas and stone bridges. This is probably why it is also known as Venice of China. Not to forget precisely designed gardens which were added to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 and 2000. History of some of those date back to 11th century.
The Humble Administrator’s Garden is probably the most famous among those.
