It was just yesterday that I wondered if there were any new releases on Friday, as it usually happens, and voila, someone reveals a picture of You Are Here Ornament – Scotland today. Here’s the link to the bigger mug for comparison.
“Nessie”, Loch Ness Monster, is still there as an essential part of the local folklore.
I would also like to mention the Great Highland bagpipe on the other side of the mug. Interesting enough, while when we think of bagpipe, we remember Scotland, it came from Spain in the 15th century. And while the use of this musical instrument declined in other countries a long time ago, it remains an important part of British military traditions and is still widespread across the UK.
