As it was expected, the releases from the new collection are happening on a daily basis. Starbucks Discovery Series Georgia is a mug for the U.S. state that is brimming with diverse landscapes, vibrant culture, and a rich history that dates back centuries. From its bustling cities to its serene coastal marshes, Georgia offers an array of attractions and symbols that capture the essence of the American South.

– Known as the “Peach State,” Georgia’s warm climate and fertile soil make it an ideal region for growing peaches. The peach has become an enduring symbol of Georgia’s agricultural heritage and is celebrated through festivals and events throughout the state.

Designated as the state bird of Georgia, the brown thrasher is known for its melodious song and distinctive appearance. Found throughout the state’s woodlands and gardens, this native bird symbolizes Georgia’s rich biodiversity and commitment to conservation. I don’t think designers did a great job depicting this bird unless they had some other bird in mind.

– The Green Tree Frog is a charming amphibian known for its vibrant green coloration and distinctive croaking call. Found in a variety of habitats, from forests to suburban gardens, these tiny frogs play a vital role in controlling insect populations. Notably, the Green Tree Frog holds the esteemed title of being the official state amphibian of Georgia.

– Adopted as the state flower of Georgia, the Cherokee rose carries a poignant history. Legend has it that the Cherokee Rose grew along the Trail of Tears, symbolizing the tears shed by Native Americans during their forced relocation. Today, it symbolizes resilience and hope.

– The Largemouth Bass, designated as the official state fish of Georgia, is an iconic freshwater species revered by anglers and nature enthusiasts alike. Renowned for its fighting spirit and impressive size, the Largemouth Bass inhabits the state’s lakes, rivers, and reservoirs, offering thrilling fishing opportunities year-round. Its recognition as Georgia’s state fish highlights its significance to the state’s rich aquatic ecosystems and its importance as a beloved symbol of outdoor recreation and conservation.

– Located just outside Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park is home to one of the largest exposed granite outcrops in the world. Visitors can hike to the summit for panoramic views, ride the scenic railroad, or enjoy family-friendly attractions like the SkyHike adventure course.

– Covering over 700 square miles, the Okefenokee Swamp is a vast wilderness teeming with biodiversity. Visitors can explore the swamp’s winding waterways by boat, observe rare birds and reptiles, and learn about its unique ecosystem at the Okefenokee Swamp Park.

Georgia is home to several breathtaking waterfalls, each offering a unique and awe-inspiring natural experience. I believe the two of them can be seen in the design of the mug:

– Situated on the campus of Toccoa Falls College in northeast Georgia, Toccoa Falls is a majestic 186-foot waterfall that flows from a sheer cliff into a serene pool below. Visitors can access the falls via a short, scenic walk from the college campus.

– Located in Amicalola Falls State Park near Dawsonville, Amicalola Falls is the tallest waterfall in Georgia, cascading 729 feet down a series of rocky cliffs. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails that lead to various viewpoints, offering stunning vistas of the waterfall and surrounding Appalachian Mountains.

I would like to thank my reader for providing the pictures of the new mug.
