Discovery Series – University of Hawaii is the second mug from the Campus Collection that I’ve recently come across. It seems that Starbucks is continuing its trend of releasing mugs for universities that previously didn’t have any. It is very important to note that the box is custom for all the mugs from this collection. There is also “campus collection” writing on the bottom, along with the picture of a mortarboard. You Are Here Ornament – Italia

Along with an updated mug for the capital city, Starbucks has also released a new version of the country ornament! A brand-new design was spotted in stores, and it appears to be replacing the previous one. You Are Here Ornament – Italia uses the name Italians actually use for their country. Interestingly, I haven’t seen the larger mug yet, but I’m sure it’s coming soon.

The name “Italia” has ancient roots, tracing back to the Greeks, who referred to a portion of Southern Italy as “Italói,” possibly derived from a word meaning “calf” or “young bull.” This symbol, often associated with fertility and strength, may reflect the region’s pastoral richness.… Read more

Starbucks has released an updated version of the mug for the capital of Italy: You Are Here – Roma. You can see a comparison of the two mugs below; they are identical except for the city name. Roma is how the locals say it — a name as timeless as the city itself.

You Are Here – České Budějovice is a mug for a historic city in the South Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, which is also known as Budweis. Discovery Series Star Wars – Kashyyyk

The second mug from the recently announced trio is the Discovery Series Star Wars – Kashyyyk. What I like about these is that the circle on the front of the mug has a custom color, depending on the planet. It is, unfortunately, not the case for the state and city mugs – they all have the same dark green color circle.

Been There – Oita is a mug for a city located on the island of Kyushu in Japan. During the Nara period (710–794), Oita flourished as a center of culture and religion, thanks to the influence of Usa Jingu Shrine, one of the most important Shinto shrines in Japan. Discovery Series – Yosemite is the first National Park mug in the new collection. Since there aren’t many parks with Starbucks stores, Yosemite might remain the only mug of this kind.

Been There Ornament – Wuxi

Been There Ornament – Wuxi accompanies the bigger mug that we’ve reviewed today, see this post. Like all Been There ornaments from China, it comes as a set of two, paired with the country ornament. It’s a bit inconvenient if you’re trying to collect all the cities, but that’s just how it is.

The ornament showcases most of the landmarks featured in the full-size mug design, but I’d like to mention these three additional symbols:
