You Are Here – Monaco

Apparently, it has been a couple of weeks since the release of You Are Here – Monaco mug. However, it was only spotted two days ago, thanks to a Facebook user. I made my own quick research and can see some photos from April with this mug behind the counter in one of the Starbucks stores in Monaco. There are only two of those in that tiny country; that explains why it has not been seen earlier. The mug is designed using red and gold shades.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Hungary

There were some rumors that this mini mug is coming, but I only believe when I see it.
Here’s the picture of You Are Here Ornament – Hungary which is ready to hit the stores soon. Similar to his bigger brother, Hungary YAH, it has these points of interest:
– Nine-holed Bridge – the longest road stone bridge in historic Hungary.
– The Nonius – a Hungarian horse breed generally dark in color.
– Hungarian Grey a.k.a. Hungarian Steppe cattle
– Hungarian wax pepper
– Wine grape, which symbolizes the rich history of winemaking in Hungary.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Ba Na Hills

With the release of the regular YAH mug for Ba Na Hills comes his little brother You Are Here Ornament – Ba Na Hills. It could be seen on the pictures from Starbucks Facebook page earlier, but the quality of the photo was so poor, that I didn’t dare to post it here. Now, thanks to a collector, we have clear evidence that it exists. It has a blue string and can only be purchased in the Starbucks store in Ba Na Hills resort.… Read more

You Are Here – Brugge

It was quite some time since we saw the last European city being released within YAH series. That’s what makes today’s news more exciting because it’s You Are Here – Brugge mug which has been spotted in Belgium this morning.
When you look in the google trends for the word “Bruges”, there was definitely a spike in interest in 2008, that’s when the movie “In Bruges” came out. To be honest with you, I’ve never heard about this city before that movie and I believe this applies to many people to the West of the Atlantic ocean.… Read more

This resort is holding the world record for longest non-stop single track cable car (3.6 miles long), you can see those on the front of the mug. Another point of interest is the “Golden Bridge” (The Cau Vang), footbridge supported by two huge stone hands.… Read more

You Are Here – Qujing

When we thought Starbucks is done with releasing Chinese mugs, they come with the new one. You Are Here – Qujing is the latest addition to an already huge family.
It is mostly nature which occupies the sides of the mug. We see mountains, hills, rivers, waterfalls, and forests. There is only one man made landmark on the front and it is Puli Bridge – a suspension bridge which is 1,591 ft tall (one of the highest in the world).

You Are Here Ornament – Switzerland

Here is the second mini mug from the recent weekend release. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Switzerland is a colorful representative of this adorable series and has everything this country is famous for: cheese, chocolate, watch, lakes, and mountains. And for the latter, designers specifically depicted the Matterhorn, a pyramidal peak between Italy and Switzerland. The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points and are split by the Hörnli, Furggen, Leone/Lion, and Zmutt ridges. As for the bear (on the back of the mug), this is probably related to Bern, “city of Bears”.… Read more
