Been There Ornament – Indiana

Starbucks Been There Ornament Indiana mug has red string. It’s official motto can be seen on the front – The crossroads of America. What else:
– The covered bridge – probably related to Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Parke County is the county with the most covered bridges – 31.

– the peony – Indiana state flower… Read more

Been There Ornament – Wyoming

Here’s Starbucks Been There Ornament Wyoming. It has a yellow string and is kind of rare since Wyoming is a pretty remote state and doesn’t have many Starbucks stores. From the front of the mug:
– Flaming Gorge Reservoir – which is formed by Flaming Gorge Dam. The dam was built between 1958 and 1964 on the Green River.
– The cutthroat trout – is the state fish of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming

You Are Here – Qatar

New country mug – Starbucks You Are Here Qatar shows waves, sand and futuristic skyscrapers on the front. I am sure this is the skyline of Doha, the capital of Qatar. This is obviously due to the discovery of oil since before that, the economy of Qatar was focused on fishing and pearl hunting (the latter crashed by 1930, after the introduction of the Japanese cultured pearl onto the world market)

The cow from the Starbucks Been There Ornament Wisconsin is pretty cute. There are also:
– cheeses – Wisconsin is probably one of the largest cheese-producing states in the US. Here is the quote from New York Times article: “Cheese is the state’s history, its pride, its self-deprecating, sometimes goofy, cheese head approach to life”.
– apples – this is because apple is the leading fruit crop in the state
– beer – that’s for Milwaukee, the “Brew City” and the home of the four greats (Pabst, Miller, Schlitz, and Blatz)… Read more

You Are Here – Cambodia

Starbucks You Are Here Cambodia is another country mug from Asia. The front of the mug is mostly occupied by Ta Prohm – ancient temple located in Angkor. It was built between 12th and 13th centuries and it is also worth mentioning that the original name of this temple is Rajavihara – “monastery of the king”. It was included in UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992 and is now in pretty much the same condition in which it was found.… Read more
