Starbucks You Are Here – Mulhouse is a city mug from France with a distinctive design. The location of the city close to Swiss and German borders played a significant role in its history. Starbucks You Are Here – Nancy is another French city mug coming to stores right now. Nancy is a city in the north-east of the country which was the capital of the Duchy of Lorraine back in the days. Interestingly enough, the Duchy was given to Stanisław Leszczyński (Stanislaus I, former King of Poland), who lost his throne as a result of the War of the Polish Succession in 1737. It was Stanislaus who requested the construction of Place Stanislaus, a large square built between March 1752 and November 1755 which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.… Read more

Even though the release of Starbucks You Are Here – Cape Town has been delayed for two years, it is still nice to see it finally coming out. Better late than never, they say. This release is accompanying the opening of the first Starbucks store in this South African city. It was announced back in 2018, but for some reason did not happen. The store will be open to the public this Thursday, but it seems that some people were able to get this mug earlier, probably at the party for the media that was held today.… Read more

Been There Christmas – Pike Place 2

This could easily be the most exciting Starbucks release of the 2020 Holiday Season. Been There Christmas – Pike Place v2 introduces a completely unique design, never seen before. As you can see from the picture, the color of the mug is something in between chocolate and hickory with golden letters. The same gold color was also used to outline the symbols of Pike Place Market. I like this new design a lot! Let me know in the comments about your thoughts on this mug.… Read more

Been There – Guanajuato

I believe that Starbucks Been There – Guanajuato is a city mug, based on its design, which is mostly featuring the city’s landmarks.
Here are they:
– Alhóndiga de Granaditas was originally built as grain storage but later played a major role in the first battle of the Mexican War of Independence between insurgents and royalist troops on September 28, 1810.
– The Guanajuato tunnels are a series of wide channels that extended under the city and help divert traffic away from the city center.… Read more
