Discovery Series – Hawaii

The new collection expands to the Aloha State. Thanks to the reader of my blog, I am happy to share the photos of the Starbucks Discovery Series – Hawaii mug with you.

Hawaii bears a rich history dating back over a millennium. Polynesian voyagers first settled the islands around 300 AD, bringing with them their unique culture, language, and traditions. Captain James Cook’s arrival in 1778 marked the beginning of significant European contact, leading to the islands’ eventual annexation by the United States in 1898.… Read more

Discovery Series – New York

Another state is joining the new collection with the release of the Discovery Series – New York mug. Interestingly enough, the sphere on the front of the mug is green, similar to yesterday’s release. Another observation I’ve made is that, unlike the previous series, the inside of the mug is matte, or at least not as glossy.

As you’ve noticed, simplicity is the hallmark of the new series, especially when compared to the Been There collection. Here are some of the symbols and places of interest that are depicted on the mug.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Disneyland Park

And last, but not least in the new collection releases batch is Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Disneyland Park. The color of the string seems to be of the pink shade. Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Hollywood Studios

The inside color of the Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Hollywood Studios as well as its string is light green. The design matches the full-size mug, but features less details. For instance, Mickey, the guitar and the Beauty and the Beast are missing on the front and the back shows Mickey and Minnie driving the car, which I believe refers to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The latter is an innovative and captivating attraction that transports guests into the enchanting world of Mickey Mouse and his beloved companion, Minnie.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Epcot

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Epcot is one of the four WDW ornaments released recently. The color of the string is purple. The design of the ornament contains way less elements, when compared to the bigger mug. For instance, the back only shows the mouse named Remy from the animated film “Ratatouille”. As you might know there is an attraction in Epcot related to this movie, which is called “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure”. It is located in the France Pavilion of the World Showcase.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – California Adventure

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – California Adventure is a mini version of the bigger mug that I’ve posted earlier. When comparing these two, one thing that becomes obvious is that ornament has way less details in its design. Another interesting feature is that there is “Starbucks” written inside the ornament. The string color is very light shade of green.
