Discovery Series – Orlando

Starbucks Discovery Series Orlando mug showcases the following symbols and landmarks of the city (I will skip those found on the ornament):

Golf in Orlando stands as a testament to the city’s year-round outdoor lifestyle, with over 150 courses gracing the landscape. The pristine fairways and challenging layouts have attracted both professional tournaments and casual players from around the world. The combination of warm weather and meticulously maintained courses, designed by legends like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, has earned Orlando its reputation as one of America’s premier golfing destinations.… Read more

Discovery Series Ornament – Orlando

Discovery Series Ornament Orlando is a mini mug for a vibrant city in Florida, known for being the home of Walt Disney World and its status as one of the most-visited cities in the United States. Originally inhabited by the Timucua people, the area began to see European settlement in the 1830s, with the establishment of a small fort during the Seminole Wars. The town was officially named Orlando in 1857, possibly after a soldier named Orlando Reeves, though the exact origin remains a topic of debate.… Read more

Been There – Florida State

Starbucks Been There Florida State is the third Campus Collection mug from Florida!
Florida State University (FSU) was founded in 1851 as the Seminary West of the Suwannee River, making it one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Florida. Throughout its history, FSU has grown significantly in size and academic reputation, becoming a major research university and consistently ranking among the top public universities in the United States.… Read more

Discovery Series – Florida

This is a new release for the Sunshine State. Starbucks Discovery Series – Florida showcases the bright design using yellow, red, and green color palettes. I am monitoring the audience’s reaction and I have to admit that the opinions about the new collection are divided. As for myself, I prefer to see them in person and render my verdict then.

Back to the design of the mug, I can already see these symbols and points of interest of Florida:

– The Space Shuttle, revolutionized space travel with its reusable design and ability to ferry astronauts and payloads into orbit.… Read more

Originally known as the East Florida Seminary, the institution began as a small boarding school in Ocala before moving to Gainesville in 1906. Over the years, UF grew in size and scope, evolving into a comprehensive research university. Throughout its history, UF has been dedicated to providing a high-quality education, fostering innovation, and serving the state of Florida.… Read more

Been There – Florida International University

Been There – Florida International University is the first out of at least four “University Mugs” that I’ve heard are coming out soon. It seems that Starbucks is expanding the list of Been There mugs by adding new types of locations and we’ve seen the trend with Star Wars and Yosemite mugs. It adds variety and attracts new collectors on one hand, but also can blow your budget on the other hand (in case you decide to collect the whole series).… Read more

Been There – Orlando

For Starbucks Been There Orlando mug I am using official photos, but let me assure you, the mug is out and is for sale online (see below). From what I can see, Starbucks decided to not use themed parks elements here, and it makes complete sense. There is no doubt that Disney and Universal BT mugs will be released as a separate set later.
