I was surprised by the number of releases from the Aloha State. Discovery Series Honolulu is the seventh (including the Campus mug) yet not the last mug from Hawaii.

Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii, is located on the island of Oahu and serves as the cultural and economic center of the state. Its name means “sheltered harbour” in Hawaiian, reflecting the natural protection of its coastal setting. Discovery Series – University of Hawaii is the second mug from the Campus Collection that I’ve recently come across. It seems that Starbucks is continuing its trend of releasing mugs for universities that previously didn’t have any. It is very important to note that the box is custom for all the mugs from this collection. There is also “campus collection” writing on the bottom, along with the picture of a mortarboard.
