Yet another mug from Arabian Peninsula – Starbucks You Are Here United Arab Emirates. The design is pretty simple and apart from a horse silhouette (The Arabian horse is one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world thanks to its distinctive head shape and high tail carriage), we can see the skyline of Dubai. The tallest building in Dubai and the whole world is the Burj Khalifa. It has 163 floors and is 2,722 ft high!

Generally speaking, Starbucks You Are Here Denmark is very similar to Copenhagen YAH, released couple years ago. Is that Denmark has nothing else to show but multicolor buildings along the canal? I don’t think so. I believe Starbucks could do better job here.… Read more
New country mug – Starbucks You Are Here Qatar shows waves, sand and futuristic skyscrapers on the front. I am sure this is the skyline of Doha, the capital of Qatar. Did you know this country has the highest per capita income in the world? This is obviously due to the discovery of oil since before that, the economy of Qatar was focused on fishing and pearl hunting (the latter crashed by 1930, after the introduction of the Japanese cultured pearl onto the world market)

A pleasant surprise for ornaments collectors – Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Cambodia. This release is special, since it’s the first time I see the same ornament coming in two different boxes. First, is the regular YAH Ornament box, the green one with grayish cover, as seen above. The second one is a set of three Cambodian ornaments – Cambodia, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh together. Starbucks You Are Here Cambodia is another country mug from Asia. The front of the mug is mostly occupied by Ta Prohm – ancient temple located in Angkor. It was built between 12th and 13th centuries and it is also worth mentioning that the original name of this temple is Rajavihara – “monastery of the king”.
