I am finally adding Starbucks Been There Christmas – Philippines 2 here, so you can have a proper understanding of the Special Edition mugs from the Land of Smiles. This particular release was spotted during the 2023 Holiday season. It resembles the Summer Edition which I’ve reviewed recently, except instead of black, Starbucks used gold color to outline the elements of the design. Starbucks Been There Christmas Philippines mug is the Holiday Edition of the regular mug that I’ve reviewed two years ago. If you compare these two mugs side by side (see the picture below), it becomes obvious that they’re quite different. Starbucks surprises us with Relief Christmas – Philippines. I used to call them Red Relief mugs, but I just came to the realization that they are all Christmas Editions.
The new, Christmas 2019 mug features mountains, ocean and a cute little truck filled with Christmas presents. I am sure there many people who prefer this design over YAHs. This is a chance for them to expand their collection.

One might think that all Christmas mugs will get red handle this year, as we saw it with European Country mugs, however it is not true for Asian mugs. Here’s Starbucks You Are Here Christmas – Philippines v2 mug. That green color from the inside of the mug, makes it different from the last year’s version (where it was red). What you’re seeing is the mug that popped up last summer and caused some confusion. At first glance, Been There – Philippines 2 – Summer Edition 2023 looked like the Christmas mug, outlined with black only. However, after a quick search, I found out that the somewhat official name of the new four Philippines mugs (see the last photo in this post) is “Summer Been There Series”. The cover is not different from the regular version and has no additional writing, however, the actual box is black.… Read more

Been There Christmas Manila is following the release of the country mug from Republika ng Pilipinas. Similarly, the design of the regular mug was revised, with some elements rearranged and new holiday elements added: huge Christmas tree to the right of the title, gift boxes, and ornaments.
It is worth mentioning that there were three YAH Christmas mugs from Manila released in the previous years.
