The plane could be for the Tuskegee airmen from Tuskegee, Alabama
I was going to say the same, The Tuskegee Airmen. That at least solves one of the planes…. But why two, I couldn’t figure that out either?
In early October 2022, I was going to head down to AL from Chattanooga, and pick up the Alabama mug. Apparently some overly sensitive person got offended with something on this AL Been There Mug that has been out since 2018, Starbucks pulled this mug from all their AL stores. A new version should come out by the end of the year. I will check with them soon for an update.
I just came back from Huntsville AL. As of 12/10, the new mug hasn’t come out yet. 😟

The new mug came out in January 2023 with the Cotton State, Cotton Bush and Alabama flag removed. You can get pics of it on eBay. I am heading down to AL to pick up the mug while on vacation there. Hope I won’t have issues finding it.
