Been There Disney – California Adventure 2
Been There Disney – California Adventure v2 follows Disneyland v2 that we’ve seen earlier. I am happy to see both Disney parks from California receiving the revision, and not just World Disney World parks (for 50th Anniversary).
I really like the new design for its bright colors and the fact that all the elements are listed in the legend on the cover of the box. Here are they:
(1) Popcorn is a popular snack in any of the Disney parks. Here’s a hint: using the refillable popcorn bucket might save you some bucks during your visit.
(2) Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! is a dark ride attraction based on the 2001 Walt Disney Pictures/Pixar film Monsters, Inc.
(3) Grizzly River Run is a river rapids ride where the rafts are engineered to spin as they descend chutes.
(4) Minnie ear headband – a must-have souvenir to take with you from any Disney park
(5) Bing Bong – was Riley’s imaginary friend from Inside Out, Pixar’s 15th feature film (2015). Mostly made of cotton candy, Bing Bong is part cat, part elephant.
(6) Toy Story Mania is an interactive 4-D theme park attraction based on classic carnival midway games and inspired, as you guessed it, by Pixar’s Toy Story franchise
(7) Cars Land Tractor – from Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, which is a whip ride where guests get to ride in trailers being pulled and whipped around by baby tractors
(8) Radiator Springs Trash Can – one of many custom trash cans in the park that feature unique designs for each land
(9) Carthay Circle Restaurant is a replica of the Los Angeles restaurant with the same name. It servers as DCA’s “castle” and the showpiece of Buena Vista Street.
(10) Cozy Cone is a counter-service dining location offering different cone-pun named snacks
(11) Guardians of the Galaxy Mix Tape – is the soundtrack album for the Marvel Studios film Guardians of the Galaxy
(12) Spider Bot from Spiderman series
(13) Ear Hat – a.k.a the Mickey Mouse hat is the most popular item in Disney parks
(14) Jessie’s Critter Carousel is an attraction inspired by Jessie’s wilderness friends from Toy Story 2. It is located in Pixar Pier.
(15) Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout is an accelerated drop tower dark ride attraction based on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film series. It includes the characters like Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, and others.
(16) Milano – Star-Lord’s ship (the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy)
(17) Pixar Pier is a Pixar-themed area of the park (similar to lands in any Disney park)
(18) Jack-Jack (Parr) is a major character from “The Incredibles” and its 2018 sequel
(19) Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums – an iconic snack shop that offers a wonderful selection of cookies.
(20) Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind – a spinner ride inspired by the Emotion Headquarters from Pixar movie of the same name.
(21) Incredicoaster is a steel roller coaster, the fastest in the park.
(22) Soarin’ Over California was a flight motion simulator that was replaced by Soarin’ Around the World. It is coming back from time to time for a limited run.
(23) Pixar Pal-A-Round (formerly Mickey’s Fun Wheel and Sun Wheel) is an eccentric wheel inspired by Wonder Wheel from Coney Island. The attraction features both sliding and fixed gondolas.
Hello
Great website! Do you know where I can get this mug? Like in the downtown Disney Starbucks?
You can only buy it inside the park.
