Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Tatooine
As I mentioned earlier, the large Star Wars mugs are accompanied by a set of ornaments. Similar to the other mini mugs in this series, the design of the Discovery Series Star Wars Ornament – Tatooine features fewer elements compared to the larger mugs. These new ornaments come in a set of three — Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Geonosis—and cannot be purchased separately. What I particularly like is that the circle on the front of each ornament is a custom color that matches the color of the inside of the mini mug. This differs from the regular (city and state) Discovery ornaments, with the exception of the Disney ones, of course.
The design of the Tatooine ornament mirrors the larger mug but features a simplified layout. Key characters like Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker represent the planet’s deep connection to the Skywalker saga, while Boba Fett adds a nod to Tatooine’s criminal underworld. Darth Maul is also featured, capturing the tension of his iconic duel with Qui-Gon Jinn. Though more compact, the ornament preserves the essence of Tatooine’s rich Star Wars legacy in a bold, minimalist style.
