Relief – Boracay Sky Blue
The Starbucks Relief Boracay Sky Blue is a release from 2020 with a very unique color combination and a completely different set of landmarks and symbols when compared to the regular version.
Boracay, a small island in the Philippines’ Aklan province, has transformed from a sleepy fishing village into one of Southeast Asia’s most celebrated beach destinations since international tourists discovered its powdery white sand in the 1970s. The island’s crown jewel, White Beach, stretches two miles along the western coast with talcum-soft sand and turquoise waters that consistently rank among the world’s best beaches, while Puka Beach offers a quieter alternative on the northern tip known for its shell-strewn shores.
Visitors flock to Boracay for world-class water sports including kiteboarding and windsurfing at Bulabog Beach, where consistent trade winds create ideal conditions from November to April. Island-hopping tours to nearby Crystal Cove and Crocodile Island offer additional adventures with excellent snorkelling and cliff diving opportunities for thrill-seekers.
Mount Luho, the island’s highest point, rewards hikers with panoramic views of Boracay’s entire coastline and surrounding turquoise waters. Meanwhile,
D’Mall and Station 2 pulse with restaurants, bars, and nightlife that come alive after sunset, forming the social heart of the island.
Sunset sailing on paraw boats remains a quintessential Boracay experience, with the colorful traditional outrigger vessels gliding across calm waters as the sky transforms into brilliant orange and pink hues. Despite a controversial six-month closure in 2018 for environmental rehabilitation, Boracay has emerged with improved infrastructure and sustainability measures while maintaining the natural beauty and laid-back island atmosphere that made it famous worldwide.
