Discovery Series Ornament – Connecticut is the latest ornament from New England, which I was fortunate to add to my collection.

Connecticut, one of the original thirteen colonies, has a history that stretches back to the early 1600s when Dutch traders and English settlers arrived. It was here that the Fundamental Orders of 1639 were drafted, a document many historians call the first written constitution in the Western world. Been There Ornament – Connecticut

Here’s Starbucks Been There Ornament Connecticut. It has blue string and for the mug, designers used orange and blue colors. What do we see on the front:
– Lifering, a.k.a. lifebuoy – I am not exactly sure how is it related to Connecticut. An interesting fact though, it is believed it was Leonardo da Vinci who invented it.
– The Connecticut State Capitol, located in Hartford, houses the Connecticut General Assembly; the upper house, the State Senate, and lower house, the House of Representatives, as well as the office of the Governor of the State of Connecticut.… Read more
