Discovery Series Star Wars – Kashyyyk

The second mug from the recently announced trio is the Discovery Series Star Wars – Kashyyyk. What I like about these is that the circle on the front of the mug has a custom color, depending on the planet. It is, unfortunately, not the case for the state and city mugs – they all have the same dark green color circle.

Kashyyyk, the lush, forest-covered homeworld of the Wookiees, is one of the most iconic planets in the Star Wars galaxy.… Read more

Discovery Series Star Wars – Tatooine

Let’s review in more detail one of the mugs from the recently released Star Wars trio. Discovery Series Star Wars – Tatooine comes four years after the Been There mug with the same name. Please note that the box cover is designed specifically for this mug and features the name of the planet. I recommend keeping it, as it is part of the collectible.

Tatooine is a desert planet in the Star Wars universe, known for its twin suns and harsh, arid climate.… Read more

Traditionally released on May 4th – “May the Fourth”, a fan-made holiday that plays off the famous Jedi phrase “May the Force be with you” – the 2025 edition arrived a full month ahead of schedule. Been There Disney – World Of Frozen (Hong Kong Disneyland)

I did a quick preview of the Been There World of Frozen mug from Disney earlier, and it is time to take a better look at its design. Now that I am giving it a second look, I cannot help but notice that it looks very similar to the Arendelle mug I’ve reviewed already. Some of the characters can be found on both mugs:

Elsa is the Snow Queen of Arendelle, known for her magical ability to create ice and snow.… Read more

Discovery Series Star Wars – Hoth

The highly anticipated release of the Discovery Series Star Wars Hoth mug is just around the corner, with only one day remaining until its official launch on May 4th. Today, Disney’s official account treated eager fans with a sneak peek at the front of the mug, unveiling more interesting details.

– The green circle that can be seen on all Discovery Series mugs (except Disney) and which represents, in a way, the Starbucks logo, is replaced by the blue circle. It is obviously a node to what Hoth planet looks like from space, like a pale blue sphere due to its dense snow and ice covering.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Disneyland Park

And last, but not least in the new collection releases batch is Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Disneyland Park. The color of the string seems to be of the pink shade. The front of the ornament showcases the Sleeping Beauty Castle which stands as an iconic symbol of magic, dreams, and enchantment. This fairy-tale fortress serves as the centerpiece of the theme park, capturing the imaginations of visitors young and old with its rich history and timeless allure.

Been There Disney – Arendelle

Been There Disney – Arendelle mug was released earlier this year and is dedicated to a fictional kingdom that serves as the main setting for Disney’s animated film “Frozen” and its sequel “Frozen II.” Created by Disney, Arendelle is a Nordic-inspired kingdom with elements reminiscent of Scandinavian and Norwegian landscapes and architecture. The story revolves around the relationship between two royal sisters, Elsa and Anna, and their adventures as they navigate challenges related to Elsa’s magical ice powers. The franchise has gained widespread popularity, and Arendelle has become synonymous with the Frozen universe, capturing the imagination of audiences around the world.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Hollywood Studios

The inside color of the Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Hollywood Studios as well as its string is light green. The design matches the full-size mug, but features less details. For instance, Mickey, the guitar and the Beauty and the Beast are missing on the front and the back shows Mickey and Minnie driving the car, which I believe refers to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The latter is an innovative and captivating attraction that transports guests into the enchanting world of Mickey Mouse and his beloved companion, Minnie.… Read more

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Epcot

Discovery Series Disney Ornament – Epcot is one of the four WDW ornaments released recently. The color of the string is purple. The design of the ornament contains way less elements, when compared to the bigger mug. For instance, the back only shows the mouse named Remy from the animated film “Ratatouille”. As you might know there is an attraction in Epcot related to this movie, which is called “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure”. It is located in the France Pavilion of the World Showcase.… Read more
