I recently reviewed the ornament from The Peace Garden State, where wide skies meet endless possibilities. Discovery Series North Dakota is its big brother.

North Dakota’s story reaches deep into the past, shaped first by the Indigenous nations who lived on these plains for thousands of years, including the Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara, Lakota, and Dakota peoples. Discovery Ornament – North Dakota comes from the U.S. state that borders the Canadian province whose ornament we reviewed recently. Interestingly, it also features a fisherman!

North Dakota’s history is rooted in the cultures of the Indigenous peoples who lived on the plains long before European settlement. Here’s probably one of the hard to get BTOs, due to the remoteness of the state – Starbucks Been There Ornament North Dakota. The string is orange and the whole mug is designed using red and orange palette. Here are the visual details:
– The Peace Garden State – the official nickname of North Dakota. It was initially placed on licensed plates in 1956 and later officially adopted by the state.

I’ve got some exclusive photos from one of the collectors and I hasten to share them with you. Here’s Starbucks Been There North Dakota v2 mug brand new and improved. Specifically, Starbucks fixed the error it made for “Geographical Center of North America” monument installed in Rugby, ND (see side-by-side photos). I also find it very amusing, that the picture of the monument was made smaller in order for it to be moved up North on the map of the US.… Read more

Thanks to a collector, (see watermark), I can finally add Starbucks Been There – North Dakota mug to my site. Again, this is the error mug, so technically this is North Dakota v1 and it’s ultra rare. The fixed version is expected to be released pretty soon, that’s when I will post a side-by-side comparison photo for you guys. But for now, please see this all-sides collage. The actual misprint is on the back of the mug, where is says “Center of the United States” which is obviously the reference to the “Geographical Center of North America” monument installed in Rugby, ND.… Read more
