You Are Here – Trondheim

Starbucks You Are Here – Trondheim is a mug for the third most populous municipality in Norway located on the south shore of Trondheim Fjord. It is a pretty old city, founded in 997 as a trading post under the name of Kaupangen, later renamed Nidaros. The city served as the capital of Norway during the Viking Age until 1217.
The design of the mug is very simple, showcasing the views of the city with old buildings located right on the water.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Norway

Just recently I’ve mentioned the release of the new mini mug from this Nordic country and we have its Holiday edition sibling Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Norway hitting the shelves. For easier comparison, I’ve placed this new ornament next to the regular one and there is one interesting detail that I would like to point out. We see two Norwegian flags (like one was not enough), mountains, snow and Christmas trees. Add here skis to emphasise skiing being huge in Norway and Oseberg Ship – a well-preserved Viking ship displayed at the Viking Ship Museum at Bygdøy and you are going to get pretty much the full picture of this mug.… Read more

You Are Here – Oslo

I was about to add this mug into rumors section as I heard it’s coming soon. However, just one day later, pictures of it hit the Facebook. Oslo is the first mug (I hope) from You Are Here series released for Norway. As per official Norway facebook page, the mug is already available in stores as of today. The price is 175 NOK (Norwegian Krones) or $21, which makes it pretty expensive. Ebay prices are pretty high as well, but will go down in upcoming days (check the links from below).… Read more
