Starbucks Been There – San Diego State University mug is the second out of four that were planned so far as a part of “Campus Collection” (sub-set of Been There Series).
SDSU is a public research university founded in 1897 as San Diego Normal School and is now accepting around 25k students per year. The front of the mug is featuring Hepner Hall, the iconic academic building in the center of SDSU’s campus. The same building can also be seen on the University’s official logo.… Read more

We have finally got the confirmation of what was the fix for Starbucks Been There San Diego v2 mug. It was actually saying “Americas finest city in motion” which doesn’t make any sense and it was replaced with “America’s finest city”

A previously delayed, Starbucks Been There San Diego mug has been spotted in stores. At this point, I can only guess what was the reason for the delay. This can easily be the v2 and we are yet to discover if there was the v1 and what was the misprint.
Update from 2018-06-30: we’re lucky to witness the back of Been There San Diego v1 It was confirmed that delay was caused by misprint. See two mugs side by side:

You Are Here Ornament US series is still growing. A San Diego mini mug was found today on eBay. It looks like Starbucks decided to cover West Coast first. Who knows maybe we gonna have many more in upcoming days or weeks. It’s safe to say that, if your State, Province or City has a regular YAH and not ornament – this will be your year.
