Been There Disney – World Of Frozen (Hong Kong Disneyland)
I did a quick preview of the Been There World of Frozen mug from Disney earlier, and it is time to take a better look at its design. Now that I am giving it a second look, I cannot help but notice that it looks very similar to the Arendelle mug I’ve reviewed already. Some of the characters can be found on both mugs:
– Elsa is the Snow Queen of Arendelle, known for her magical ability to create ice and snow. Initially fearful of her powers, she eventually learns to embrace them and uses magic to protect her kingdom. Elsa is strong, independent, and deeply cares for her sister, Anna.
– Anna is the fearless and optimistic princess of Arendelle, and Elsa’s younger sister. She is determined and adventurous, always ready to protect her loved ones. Her unwavering belief in the power of love is central to the story, as she helps Elsa discover the true strength of her own heart.
– Olaf is a cheerful and endearing snowman brought to life by Elsa’s magic. He is known for his innocent curiosity and love for warm hugs. Despite his naivety, Olaf often provides insightful wisdom and serves as a loyal companion to Elsa, Anna, and their friends.
– Kristoff is a rugged and kind-hearted ice harvester who becomes Anna’s close friend and eventually her love interest. He is independent and prefers the company of his reindeer, Sven, but proves to be brave and dependable when it comes to helping those he cares about.
– Sven is Kristoff’s loyal reindeer companion, known for his gentle nature and strong bond with Kristoff. Though he doesn’t speak, Sven’s expressions and actions communicate his thoughts clearly, often adding humor and warmth to the group’s adventures.
There is one new character specific to the Been There World of Frozen mug:
– Oaken is the jovial and friendly owner of the Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. He is known for his thick accent and catchphrase, “Yoo-hoo!” Despite his imposing size, Oaken is warm-hearted and quick to offer help to travelers, even in the harshest of conditions. Though he only has a brief appearance in the story, his cheerful demeanor and unexpected toughness leave a lasting impression. Oaken also displays a keen business sense, offering supplies and sauna access to those who visit his store.
Apart from the locations from the Frozen franchise:
– Arendelle Castle, the majestic royal residence nestled amidst towering fjords, is where the story of Elsa and Anna unfolds,
and
– Elsa’s Ice Palace, a stunning, crystalline fortress she creates atop the North Mountain, symbolizes her newfound freedom and control over her powers,
designers also included a depiction of the actual Wandering Oaken’s Coaster Ride from Disneyland’s World of Frozen-themed land, a family-friendly attraction that takes guests on a thrilling yet playful journey through the snowy mountains of Arendelle. Inspired by the beloved character Oaken, this coaster features gentle twists, turns, and dips, perfect for younger riders and Frozen fans alike. The ride is set against a charming, snow-covered landscape, offering a delightful experience that captures the spirit of adventure and whimsy from the Frozen films. With its vibrant theme and accessible thrills, it’s a must-visit for families looking to enjoy the magic of Arendelle.
Apart from that, guests can enjoy a meal at the Golden Crocus Inn Restaurant, where the warm ambiance and Nordic-inspired dishes make for a delightful dining experience. The Frozen Ever After Boat Ride takes visitors on an enchanting journey through Arendelle, featuring beloved characters and scenes from the films.
