You Are Here Ornament – Belgium

I really expected You Are Here Ornament – Belgium to be released earlier since Belgium was one of 10 Holiday Edition ornaments released last Christmas. Well, better late than never!
This mini mug has a green string and apart from being a copy of a bigger Belgium YAH, resembles Brussels. It features a row of historic houses of different colors on the front and the Museum of the City of Brussels (located in the Maison du Roi (King’s House) or Broodhuis (Breadhouse)) on the side.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Hungary

There were some rumors that this mini mug is coming, but I only believe when I see it.
Here’s the picture of You Are Here Ornament – Hungary which is ready to hit the stores soon. Similar to his bigger brother, Hungary YAH, it has these points of interest:
– Nine-holed Bridge – the longest road stone bridge in historic Hungary.
– The Nonius – a Hungarian horse breed generally dark in color.
– Hungarian Grey a.k.a. Hungarian Steppe cattle
– Hungarian wax pepper
– Wine grape, which symbolizes the rich history of winemaking in Hungary.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Ba Na Hills

With the release of the regular YAH mug for Ba Na Hills comes his little brother You Are Here Ornament – Ba Na Hills. It could be seen on the pictures from Starbucks Facebook page earlier, but the quality of the photo was so poor, that I didn’t dare to post it here. Now, thanks to a collector, we have clear evidence that it exists. It has a blue string and can only be purchased in the Starbucks store in Ba Na Hills resort.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Switzerland

Here is the second mini mug from the recent weekend release. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Switzerland is a colorful representative of this adorable series and has everything this country is famous for: cheese, chocolate, watch, lakes, and mountains. And for the latter, designers specifically depicted the Matterhorn, a pyramidal peak between Italy and Switzerland. The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points and are split by the Hörnli, Furggen, Leone/Lion, and Zmutt ridges. As for the bear (on the back of the mug), this is probably related to Bern, “city of Bears”.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Austria

It has been a while since the last YAH ornament has been added here. I sincerely believed that Starbucks will be releasing one ornament every Friday. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen, and as an excuse, our beloved company has delivered two minis in one shot last weekend. You Are Here Ornament Austria is one of those. It comes with the blue string and has the same color inside, similar to the bigger mug, Austria YAH. As a reminder, there was also a limited edition ornament for this country.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Phuket

Similar to two Thailand YAHs coming out together, there are also two minis in the batch. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Phuket is accompanying Pattaya and I believe will be available in stores together with the latter (somewhere in April). The ornament has the navy string, and as you can see, it is of the regular shape. Not sure what I am talking about? Just compare it to the string used for Thailand YAH Ornament, which was the only mini with this type of string (flat ribbon, instead of rope).… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Pattaya

This is good news for mini mugs collectors, because previously announced Pattaya YAH comes with a smaller brother, Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Pattaya. The inside of the ornament is pink, as well as the string. Just a reminder, it’s not been released officially yet, wait for the April to get it.
Update: since it has been released, I’ve added a collage of all its sides:

You Are Here Ornament – Cyprus

Starbucks You Are Here Ornament – Cyprus is a very nice looking mini mug with the blue being the most used color. The string is also light blue. And it’s no wonder, because blue and white are the national colors of Cyprus, which you can find everywhere on the island: from the national flag to multiple white houses with blue rooftops along the coast.
The history of Cyprus, recorded through archaeological finds, myths and later written history, can be traced through 9,000 years.… Read more
