You Are Here – Greece

Finally, the anticipated Mediterranean YAH is here! Yes, I am talking about Starbucks You Are Here Greece mug. What do you guys think of it? To be honest with you, I am not impressed at all. It seems like Starbucks is running out of ideas for YAH collection. Similar to recent Germany mug, the new release has very little details. Apart from the sun, mountains (Mount Lycabettus probably) and an olive tree, there are only 3 other elements:
– Temple of Apollo (Ancient Corinth) – built in the 7th century.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – Berlin 2

Alright, so there were definitely rumors circulating and even a controversial press-release photo of the new You Are Here Christmas Berlin mug which was blue inside! I didn’t want to add that to the site, since I needed a real picture, which we now have. Just a reminder, this is the fourth Christmas YAH with second version this year (previously confirmed Paris, Moscow and London). Waiting for Prague!… Read more

Yau Are Here – Dusseldorf

Another mug from Germany – You Are Here Dusseldorf. The total count of German mugs comes to eight. Again we see local variant of writing the name, with the O modified with what is known as an “umlaut mark”.

Icon – Oktoberfest 5

I was pretty sure no Icons will be released anymore since You Are Here series is replacing them. Yet Starbucks doesn’t give up. The never seen before Icon has hit shelves in Munich. I hope you still have the place for Icons in your cabinets – who knows, maybe it’s not the end for this long-living series, loved by many collectors.

You Are Here – Koln

I was away for some time and missed to report two new YAH releases that hit Starbucks stores in Germany. A week before that happened, those were spotted at the US military base. Please meet Koln and Dresden. Interesting enough, Starbucks decided to use German version of the name instead of English (Cologne).
Koln is the the fourth-largest city in Germany (after Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich). So far visible elements from the mug are Hohenzollern Bridge and Cologne CathedralRead more
