You Are Here – Metz

A beautiful Starbucks You Are Here Metz mug is joining the collection. Nestled in the northeastern corner of France, near the borders of Luxembourg and Germany, Metz is a captivating city that seamlessly weaves together a rich history, diverse culture, and a vibrant modern atmosphere. Approximately 120,000 residents call Metz home, making it a bustling and lively urban center.
The design of the mug features a great choice of colors. I really like how it looks. The front of the mug showcases Graoully Dragon, a legendary creature said to have terrorized the city.… Read more

You Are Here – Wroclaw

Starbucks You Are Here – Wrocław has also been released past weekend. It makes it the fifth Poland YAH (not counting the Christmas version). Is it me or the latest YAHs are all pretty nice looking, at least the colors used are brighter? I think this is great, it means the designers are still investing time and effort into the You Are Here Collection, even though it is set to be phased out.
Wrocław is the largest city in the historical region of Silesia and is located on the banks of the River Oder.… Read more

You Are Here – Metzingen

Starbucks You Are Here – Metzingen brings bright colors into this winter season. It makes it the eighteenth German mug (not counting Christmas versions) in the YAH collection
The mug showcases the views of the historical part of this small (with a population of 22,000 people only) city, which, in my opinion, makes the design of the mug look great.
There is a suit on the back of the mug, which, I guess, refers to Hugo Boss brand, that calls Metzingen home.… Read more

You Are Here – Augsburg

A new mug for Germany was revealed on Starbucks’ Instagram page. You Are Here – Augsburg is available at both stores of the city (Hauptbahnhof and Königsplatz). It is featuring some historic buildings of the city with the clock tower standing out (on the front of the mug). This 230ft tower, called Perlachturm, is attached to the church of St. Peter am Perlach. As a bonus, you can get to the top of the tower to enjoy city views.… Read more

You Are Here – Wolfsburg

Wow, another city mug from the collection which is being discontinued. It seems that Starbucks would like to keep it alive for some time. Please welcome You Are Here – Wolfsburg, which is the 16th German mug within YAH series.
Wolfsburg was founded on 1 July 1938 as a home for workers producing the Volkswagen Beetle and is now known as the headquarters for Volkswagen AG as well as the home for Autostadt, an automobile-themed park with a classic-car museum and driving track.… Read more

You Are Here – Basel

Starbucks You Are Here – Basel was released almost a month ago and I am finally adding it to the list.
Basel is the third most populous city in Switzerland and is located on the border with two other European countries – Germany and France. Interestingly enough, some of Basel’s suburbs are located outside of the country. Switzerland is a member of the Schengen Area so no passport check is required when crossing the border from France or Germany, however, since it is not a member of the EU, you have to declare any goods you bring in.… Read more

You Are Here – Oktoberfest

There were some rumors about this mug coming, yet the release of Starbucks You Are Here – Oktoberfest has caught me by surprise. Thanks to a friend, here are some exclusive photos from which you can see that the new mug has all the elements from five Oktoberfest Icons combined in one!
This includes:
– Lederhosen and Dirndl (traditional costumes worn in Austria and Germany)
– The Bavarian pretzel which is a classic Oktoberfest snack (makes good pair with beer!)
– Beer and Würstl (Bavarian sausages) is another inseparable pair and symbol of the festival
– Krinoline which has been present at the Oktoberfest since 1924.… Read more

You Are Here – Bremen

I stopped counting how many German YAHs there are already. Here’s is another one, brand new You Are Here – Bremen. It has been spotted 2 days ago, but it is only now that I got the picture to share with you, thanks to a friend.
Bremen is a major economic hub of the northern regions of Germany. Many international companies have headquarters here. That’s maybe what designers were trying to emphasize by placing some tall buildings in the background on the front of the mug.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Bulgaria

The release of You Are Here Ornament – Bulgaria tells me, that I underestimated the amount of minis coming out this year. Not only bigger markets like Germany are getting new releases, we’re seeing Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria joining the party as well. We can only wish that all European mugs are “minimized”, but it’s up to Starbucks marketing department to decide.
Here’s the full-sized version of this mug, same design was used for the ornament. The string is lime green.… Read more
