You Are Here – Bergen

YAH city mugs are still in trend in Europe, and we get Starbucks You Are Here – Bergen as a proof of that. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. It is surrounded by mountains with certain areas of the city located on islands. Thanks to a temperate oceanic climate, Bergen’s weather is warmer than other Norwegian cities on this latitude. The Gulf Stream keeps the sea relatively warm, and the mountains protect the city from cold winds from the north, north-east, and east.… Read more

You Are Here – Bordeaux

It seems that Starbucks You Are Here – Bordeaux mug will be released soon. Along with the announcement on their FB page, we get the sneak peek of the mug itself. They showed us a slightly open box from where we can see “BOR” letters combination and red, blue and white colors used for the design. I can also see a glass of wine, which is an undisputable symbol of this French municipality. This port on the Garonne River has been a well-known center of the wine-growing region for ages.… Read more

You Are Here – Dublin

With the Ireland mug comes You Are Here – Dublin. Together, they form a beautiful pair which makes the trip to Irand twice as exciting.
The most noticeable elements on the front of the mug are:
– Ha’penny Bridge – Dublin’s oldest pedestrian bridge over the River Liffey. It’s so-called because you once had to pay half a penny to cross it. Its official name is the Liffey Bridge, and it was built in May 1816 and became one of the most famous bridges in the city.… Read more

You Are Here – Ireland

What a pleasant Friday release from Starbucks! As per increasing collectors’ demand, You Are Here – Ireland mug is finally here. Obviously featuring:

Shamrock is also a symbol of luck, mainly if it has four leaves. It was also an important symbol to the ancient Irish druids who believed that everything important in the world comes in threes, like the three dominions of earth, sky, and sea, as an example.… Read more

Thanks to vivid colors, this mug looks special. We see the Valletta skyline with Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the front of the mug. It is a Roman Catholic church that forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage site which includes the entire city.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Italy

There are only two stores in Italy, nonetheless, Starbucks introduced the mini version of the previously released mug. Here’s the photo of You Are Here Ornament Italy, which has been spotted today in Milan. As far as I remember, they only sell mugs in the store, other than Reserve (correct me if I am wrong in the comments). Keep that in mind, when visiting Milan. On a similar note, it is always a good idea to call the store in advance to check the availability of mugs and ornaments.… Read more

Been There – Illinois 2

There have been some updates in the design of existing mugs recently. One of those is Been There – Illinois v2. The only change I see are dashes between the words in Cave-in-Rock, a 55-foot wide riverside cave formed by wind and water erosion. Indeed, it is the right way of writing the name of this landmark of the Ohio River, city and State Park.
