Starbucks Been There Hong Kong mug is revealed almost two years after the release of the Mainland China batch. Interestingly enough, Been There Macau was released even earlier, back in 2021!

Hong Kong’s history is a tale of transformation from a small fishing village to a global financial hub. Originally part of imperial China, it was ceded to the British Empire in 1841 following the First Opium War. Under British rule, Hong Kong became a major port and trading center. Been There Disney – World Of Frozen (Hong Kong Disneyland)

I did a quick preview of the Been There World of Frozen mug from Disney earlier, and it is time to take a better look at its design. Now that I am giving it a second look, I cannot help but notice that it looks very similar to the Arendelle mug I’ve reviewed already. Some of the characters can be found on both mugs:

Disneyland Hong Kong – World of Frozen

The exciting news is coming from Hong Kong Disneyland, as the brand-new Been There – World of Frozen mug has just been spotted in the park’s “Market House”. This mug looks very similar to the Arendelle mug that was released not so long ago, and I will write a separate post comparing these two mugs soon. Stay tuned!

Breaking news! Just when Starbucks lulled our vigilance with BT and Christmas releases, it strikes again with another mug from Asia. And it’s no less than You Are Here Disney – Hong Kong Disneyland! Well, what can I say? Collecting Starbucks mugs is definitely not boring and you never know what new day brings you. Christmas came to Hong Kong earlier this year! Meet You Are Here Christmas – Hong Kong! I believe last year Holiday YAHs were a success and Starbucks decided to expand this mug family quite a lot this time.
Again we see solid gold lines outlining same points of interest as on regular mug but with certain Christmas elements added:
– a Christmas hat for the mountain
– flying gift-boxes
