The Been There Manila Christmas 2025 is already the third iteration of the Holiday Edition Been There mug for the city. While the artwork remains largely familiar, Starbucks has again changed the outline colour. The original Christmas release from 2022 featured gold outlines, while the second version from 2024 used black; this time, the 2025 edition switches to red. Relief – Manila Rose

Relief Manila Rose is a nice colour variation of the mug we reviewed recently. Judging by the date on the bottom of the mug, it was released in 2025. Apart from the colour, I can see that the Kalesa (with the horse) was replaced by a Jeepney.

Jeepneys are among the most recognizable symbols of the Philippines and an enduring part of daily life across the country. Created from surplus military jeeps left behind after World War II, they evolved into colourful, uniquely decorated vehicles used for public transportation.… Read more

It seems that Relief Manila Red is a revised design of the previously released Manila Relief Black and Manila Relief Green versions.

Fort Santiago is depicted on the front of the mug and is one of Manila’s most important historical landmarks, located within the walled district of Intramuros along the Pasig River. Originally built by the Spanish in the late 16th century, the fortress served as a military stronghold, defensive structure, and later a prison during different periods of Philippine history.… Read more

Been There Christmas – Manila 2 (2023) was released together with this mug. It is pretty easy to get lost between Philippines releases, so here are some distinctive features of this particular mug, that will allow you to tell it apart from others:
1. The box and the inside of the mug are purple
2. The design replicates the regular mug but has a Christmas (red) reusable cup next to the name of the mug

Been There – Manila 2 – Summer Edition 2023

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned that last summer there were four Philippines mugs released in the scope of a mini sub-series. Starbucks Been There Manila 2 Summer Edition 2023 is one of them.
As you can see from the pictures below, it resembles the regular mug very much, with the only difference being the black outlined design.

Been There Christmas Manila is following the release of the country mug from Republika ng Pilipinas. Similarly, the design of the regular mug was revised, with some elements rearranged and new holiday elements added: huge Christmas tree to the right of the title, gift boxes, and ornaments.
It is worth mentioning that there were three YAH Christmas mugs from Manila released in the previous years.

Starbucks Been There Ornament Manila looks similar to the full-size mug and comes with the red string. Manila is the capital of the Philippines and the most densely populated city proper in the world.

Here is the second Asian Christmas YAH spotted online – Starbucks You Are Here Christmas Manila v2. It reveals more details about 2018 Edition as a whole. Specifically, the box will be green this time, as opposed to red one we always had. Also, it’s hard to judge based on this blurry image, but I think the “waves” in the bottom part of the front are painted red and green. Last year these were solid gold. Better quality pics are supposed to come soon and we will be able to tell for sure whether this is true.… Read more
