Been There Ornament – Missouri

A big portion of the front of Starbucks Been There Ornament Missouri mug is occupied by train. My guess this is related to Missouri Pacific Railroad, which was one of the first railroads in the United States west of the Mississippi River. Also:
– Stamp with a horseshoe – I think that’s for the Pony Express, which was a mail service delivering messages, newspapers, and mail between St. Joseph, Missouri and Sacramento, California.
– Ship’s wheel – marks the legendary steamboat era on the Missouri River

Starbucks Been There Kansas City mug aroused suspicion when collectors noticed that the street sign on the front of the mug should say “E 18th St” and not just “18th ST”. I don’t think this is a big issue and I really doubt Starbucks will replace the mug. Anyway, let’s see how it goes. … Read more
