You Are Here Christmas – Philippines 3

New Christmas mugs hit the shelves in the Philippines today. I thought they look very similar to the second version, released last year. However, when I gave it the second look, I’ve realized there is definitely a subtle difference. Take a closer look at You Are Here Christmas – Philippines v3 above and see how the name of the mug, gift box, and candy cane are of the red shade? That, plus the red box is the only difference compared to v2.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – Poland

One of the European countries gets Christmas early with the release of Starbucks You Are Here Christmas – Poland. It has just been revealed by a Facebook user today and it seems that the design of the mug and the box are very similar to what we’ve seen last year – white background with gold lines, red handle and a black box. To be honest, I was a little bit skeptical about whether they still keep releasing YAHs for this Holiday Season or switch to the new BT series.… Read more

You Are Here – Luzhou

I am adding more China mugs in an express mode in anticipation of the Holiday season. This is Starbucks You Are Here – Luzhou which comes from Sichuan province. Luzhou was an important port on the Yangtze River since ancient times. It was also known for winemaking since the Song Dynasty. The liquor industry still remains a major part of the Luzhou economy. It is worth mentioning that, the city is home for Luzhou Laojiao Company Limited, which is a producer of Luzhou Laojiao liqueur, a baijiu that has a strong aroma of fermented peaches.… Read more

You Are Here – Bengbu

Starbucks You Are Here – Bengbu is a mug for the city in northern Anhui Province, China. The name of the city literally translates as “Clam Wharf” or “Oyster Quay”, hence the nickname – Pearl city. From what I understand, Bengbu used to be known for a freshwater pearl fishery. If you happen to visit this city, it is highly recommended to try a local meal which is river crayfish cooked with lots of spices. You can easily find a bunch of restaurants in downtown serving this and many other dishes.… Read more
