You Are Here – Mumbai

Unexpected release from India – You Are Here Mumbai. As per Wiki page, Starbucks has a joint venture company with Tata, which operates all outlets in India. It has about 100 stores, so I guess it made sense to finally have an YAH.
Interesting to note, the English name of Mumbai was Bombay before 1995, when it was officially renamed. It is the most populous city in India (around 19 million people) as well as the wealthiest.
Points of interest from the mug:
Gateway of India – this monument was built between 1913 and 1924 to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder during their visit to India in 1911.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – Singapore

Look at this beauty. Straight from Santa’s sack, brand new You Are Here Christmas Singapore! Real picture, not a render from press release.
The inside is red, lines are solid and gold. There was a fear they’ve changed the color to silver, see London 2 mug, but it looks like that picture has wrong white balance. The lines on the mug are gold indeed and I have to admit look better than dotted.
Just a reminder, this is a part of a huge batch of Christmas YAHs coming this Holidays!… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – London 2

We’re finally getting real photos of second versions of Christmas YAHs from last year as You Are Here Christmas London was spotted today on eBay. As I told earlier, lines are solid instead of dotted and I don’t really see any other difference. Well, lines alone make it “different” and valuable for collectors. As usual, I suggest to buy the previous version as it is evident it wont be released again.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – Paris 2

Something unbelievable happened. No, Starbucks didn’t re-release Epcot Purple, but this one is also crazy. Just look at the picture. It’s just You Are Here Christmas – Paris I hear you’re saying? Wrong! As it was noticed by a Facebook user, this upcoming mug is different from what we saw a year ago!
Here is the better image for a comparison:

As you can see dotted lines were replaced with solid ones and the Christmas bow is missing.
To be honest with you, I am not even sure whether I am happy or sad.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – Thailand

Last year, I was really excited to add YAH Christmas Amsterdam and Barcelona to Starbucks-Mugs.com in anticipation of their immediate release. However, to my disappointment, they have never been released. And if for Barcelona there was no pic at all, Amsterdam in it’s turn had some photo from apparently Starbucks presentation or something like that.
This is why I am adding You Are Here Christmas – Thailand as a rumor so far. Let’s hope this mug will be released this holiday season and join YAH Christmas family.… Read more

You Are Here Disney – Epcot 3

Update from October 4, 2017 YAY!!! You Are Here Epcot 3 is finally here. The latest version of Epcot mugs was just spotted on the shelves in respective theme park! From what I can see, the initial collectors’ reaction has been all positive. Indeed new mug is pleasantly looking and is completely different from Epcot 2 (and Epcot 1 as well). The monorail is gone, at least from the front of the mug. I am going to wait for more pics to confirm that.… Read more

You Are Here Disney – California Adventure 2

Like I’ve mentioned in my previous post, most of the Disney YAHs (first versions) were put on sale, namely, California Adventure had the price tag of $9.99! I hope you guys used this as an advice and stashed both Disney California mugs? No? Well, that’s too bad, since the new You Are Here California Adventure mug hit Starbucks stores today. I will be honest with you, I think this new design is too simple, but I like the color scheme more than first version.… Read more
