Here’s the new release from the Campus Collection. Discovery Series – University of Memphis is a mug for the University that was founded in 1912 as the West Tennessee State Normal School, dedicated to teacher education and service to the region. Over time, it evolved into Memphis State College and later Memphis State University, expanding its academic and research offerings. In 1994, it officially became the University of Memphis, symbolizing a modern vision for higher education in the Mid-South. – I was not able to identify what the goat with the crown means, but it may be a nod to the origin of Charlotte’s name as the “Queen City,” honoring Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. The crown ties to royalty, while the goat could symbolize strength and resilience, blending regal heritage with a playful or symbolic local touch.… Read more
