Starbucks Quietly Fixes Typo on Canadian Discovery Series Boxes

About a year ago, I wrote about a small but noticeable typo on the box of Starbucks’ first Canadian Discovery Series mug. It was the kind of thing most people would miss at a glance, but once you saw it, you couldn’t unsee it. More specifically, the grammatically correct French spelling for the word “Discovery” should be “Découverte”, and not “Decouvérte”. For collectors, details matter, and this one stood out.

Starbucks Discovery Glass Ornaments 2025

Starbucks has unexpectedly introduced a festive new addition for collectors this holiday season – Discovery Series Glass Ornaments. While I don’t personally collect these, I thought it was worth sharing the news, especially since this release connects directly to the already popular Discovery Series mugs. The company released similar ornaments before, most notably with the glass versions inspired by the Been There series. Starbucks Expands Discovery Series to Korea

Big news for Starbucks collectors: the Discovery Series is officially going global. For the first time, a mug from this line has been released outside the U.S. or Canada – and it’s landing in South Korea.

As you can see from this official Starbucks’ promotional banner, along with the Korea mug, they have also dropped a matching ornament and tumbler. This is a major shift in the series, which until now has focused exclusively on North American cities and regions. Discovery Star Wars ornaments are now confirmed!

Mark your calendars for May 4th. The official Disney Store Instagram just confirmed that three brand-new Discovery Star Wars mugs – yes, the ones I mentioned earlier – will be available online at the Disney Store.

Starbucks has launched its latest set of Star Wars Discovery Series mugs, and fans are getting an early treat this year. Traditionally released on May 4th – “May the Fourth”, a fan-made holiday that plays off the famous Jedi phrase “May the Force be with you” – the 2025 edition arrived a full month ahead of schedule. Disneyland Hong Kong – World of Frozen

The exciting news is coming from Hong Kong Disneyland, as the brand-new Been There – World of Frozen mug has just been spotted in the park’s “Market House”. Here is the photo of the Niagara Falls mug, the first mug from the Discovery Series that will be sold in both the USA and Canada. There was one detail in the writing on the cover of the box that felt weird, the moment I looked at it. The grammatically correct French spelling for the word “Discovery” should be “Découverte”, with the accent on the first “e” rather than the second one. So yes, what you see is the first typo found in the new Discovery Series.… Read more
