Starbucks You Are Here Ornament – Malta has been finally released, after being in “rumored” state for almost six months. Not sure what took Starbucks so long, some production issues maybe. Anyway, it’s here and ready to join your collection.
As always, the mini mug kept all the elements of the design of the bigger mug. Here are some of Malta’s symbols to see:
– Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu (Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel) – which is probably Valletta’s most iconic landmark with its large dome dominating over city skyline.… Read more
Great news for UK collectors: Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Scotland is out! The regular Scotland Ornament is already not that easy one to get, and I bet it will be even worse for this Holiday Edition mini mug. My understanding, Scotland is considered a “remote country” compared to Central Europe.
When looking at the regular version these are the changes I’ve noticed in the new release:
– The highland cow got the Christmas Hat. Btw, highland cattle are a Scottish breed of cattle with long horns and long, wavy, woolly coats, which can be of multiple colors.… Read more
It seems that there will be quite a few red handle mugs and ornaments this season and Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Christmas – United Arab Emirates is another proof of that. Interesting enough, there is no regular ornament for this country, which we saw happening in the past. That is why this release is quite special and limited.… Read more
I am happy to see more Holiday releases coming out since these are my favorites. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Lebanon is a brand new addition to a country mini mug family. As it is expected it has a red handle and red string and replicates the last year’s full-size YAH. There was no regular ornament for this country, unfortunately.… Read more
This week’s Holiday release is Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Greece. It replicates the design of the regular mini mug released earlier this year and features red handle. This “red handle” look was first introduced last year, as you probably remember. … Read more
Very much like last year’s Istanbul YAH, the newly announced You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Istanbul is the only city with this design so far. All other red handle mini mugs were released for countries. As per insider’s information, the new ornament will be officially available in stores on November 2. … Read more
Starbucks You Are Here Ornament – Finland is another country mini mug released this year. I am pretty happy to see that this series is not over yet. This mug has a blue string and a very colorful and bright design. I see no reason why would not Starbucks release minis for other Scandinavian countries. Fingers crossed!… Read more
What I love about Starbucks, that it always does unexpected moves in terms of merchandise and mugs in particular. However, it might be only unexpected to us, while their marketing department knows better what to release and when. Anyway, just when I thought that European country ornaments were the last batch from this series for this region, Starbucks strikes back with the release of the mini city mug – You Are Here Ornament – Istanbul. Pretty amazing, right? On the other hand, this major Turkish city holds a special place in Starbucks YAH collection.… Read more
This is You Are Here Ornament – Denmark, a smaller version of the bigger mug released a year ago. It has a light blue string and features some of the points of interest and symbols from one of the oldest countries in Europe:
– Multicolored row houses became a trademark of the old city architecture of some countries from Nothern Europe. My understanding, it is Nyhavn Canal which is depicted in particular. The boat in front of the houses might be additional proof for that.… Read more
