You Are Here Ornament Vienna is a complete copy of the bigger mug that I reviewed some time ago. Interestingly enough, while that release was the second edition of the full-sized mug for this city, there was no ornament for the first version. I really wish there were two variants of the ornament as well, however it doesn’t seem to be happening.

The brand new Starbucks You Are Here Vienna v2 mug brings a brighter design and more vivid colors when compared to the previously released Vienna v1 mug. The front of the mug is now occupied by the gloriette in the Schönbrunn Palace garden, which is considered the largest and probably best-known gloriette in the world. After getting multiple messages about the release of Starbucks You Are Here Innsbruck mug, I have no choice but to add it to the site immediately. In fact, it’s not very often we get to see the new mug from the collection that is being discontinued since 2018. Innsbruck makes it the fifth (including the Christmas version) mug from Austria. On a side note, it is 474th YAH, if my calculations are correct.

It has been a while since the last YAH ornament has been added here. I sincerely believed that Starbucks will be releasing one ornament every Friday. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen, and as an excuse, our beloved company has delivered two minis in one shot last weekend. You Are Here Ornament Austria is one of those. Things from the mug:
– Mountains, climbing gear – Austria is predominantly mountainous country. Top 5 highest mountains are: Grossglockner, Wildspitze, Weißkugel, Glocknerwand, Großvenediger.
– Sachertorte – chocolate cake invented by Austrian Franz Sacher in 1832. Interesting enough, 5 December is a special cake holiday – National Sachertorte Day!

Remember Vienna? This is his brother – Salzburg. Yes, the second You Are Here mug from Austria.
Salzburg is the fourth-largest city in Austria and literally means “Salt Fortress”. It’s centre is very well preserved and is even considered World Heritage Site according to UNESCO.
The front of the mug shows Alps, obviously, and skis. I didn’t see the back of the mug, but I expect it has some musical instrument on it, since Mozart was born here. I am pretty sure Starbucks can’t miss to commemorate this on the mug.… Read more
