Been There collection is expanding pretty fast now. It is becoming obvious that 2020 is a big year for Asia. Been There – Korea mug is a brand new example of that. This release is interesting in a sense that there were no YAH mugs for Korea. Starbucks did have very similar mugs by size, but different design, not related to YAH. I kind of liked those, but still wished for more.
Anyway, here are some highlights of Been There – Korea:

Starbucks You Are Here – Kuwait National Day 2020 is the third Middle Eastern mug dedicated to National Holidays. As a reminder, YAE and KSA National Day editions were released last year and I didn’t expect similar mugs from Starbucks anymore.
The design of this new release resembles the design of the regular Kuwait YAH, but with green and red colors prevailing. The skylines on the fronts of the mugs are not identical though. If you take a closer look, you can see the following changes:
– Al Hamra Tower (1,358 ft, the tallest building in Kuwait) – has been moved from the center to the right, replacing Mushroom Towers.… Read more
Starbucks You Are Here – Morocco is another fresh release reveal that I would like to thank my reader for. She has confirmed to me that Morocco and Rabat are now available in stores.
This new mug has a bright colorful design showing multiple small boats along the sandy shore with the city skyline in the background. We see three pieces of the traditional Moroccan pottery, above that. There are three cities in Morocco that specialize in ceramic artistry: Meknes, Safi, and Fez.… Read more
I believe Starbucks You Are Here Ornament – Jordan will be somewhat hard to get. A small number of stores in this country do not make a collector’s life easier. Fingers crossed it stays on shelves for some time, so everyone can get it eventually.

Something special has finally happened. We knew it was just a matter of time till Starbucks expands Been There Series beyond the Americas. Well, this time has come on Friday with the release of the first Asian BT mug and ornament. It is this Been There Vietnam mug that has been chosen for this role in particular. The box it comes with is of the same light blue color as we’re used to. As a nice touch, you can also buy it in a special gift box, which, along with the mug, includes a card and coffee filter (see the photo below).… Read more

With Christmas just around the corner, I gave up on seeing Holiday Edition mugs from Italy. Boy, was I wrong! It has been revealed today, that Bel Paese gets both Christmas full-size mug and ornament.
As you can see, You Are Here Christmas – Italy has traditional (for the last two years) design with the red handle. Let me remind you, that there are not that many stores in this country. In fact, only two cities have Starbucks stores – Milan (most of those) and Turin (only one so far).… Read more
