Been There – South Carolina 2

Unexpectedly, Starbucks made a decision to issue an updated version of the previously released mug. The design of Been There South Carolina v2 shows some rearrangement of the elements and removal of “the rice state” nickname. The latter doesn’t seem to be widely used, so I guess the change makes sense. The Palmetto State, on the other hand, is widely known as the reference to the state tree, the Palmetto. Been There – Clemson University

Starbucks Been There Clemson University mug is the newest addition to the Campus Collection. It is dedicated to a public land-grant research university in South Carolina. The University was founded in 1889 as Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina. It was later renamed Clemson University in 1964, in recognition of expanded academic offerings.
Here are some landmarks and symbols from the mug:

Been There Ornament – South Carolina

Been There Ornament South Carolina – I can still see two birds, beach ball, peach and probably Firefly Sweet Tea cocktail.
There is also Fort Sumter – one of many East Coast fortifications built after the War of 1812. Work started in 1829, but was incomplete by 1860, when South Carolina seceded from the Union.
