A brand new release has just popped up online. This is You Are Here Ornament Christmas – Turkey which is the second Holiday mini mug from this country. The first one is the Istanbul ornament of course. And just as a reminder, it remains the only city Christmas ornament outside of the US!

It took Starbucks six city mugs before releasing You Are Here Turkey country mug. Unfortunately I was not able to identify the building on the front of the mug, but it is definitely something from ancient times.
Thanks to a comment below the post, I’ve realized I was wrong about the building on the front of the mug. It is in fact Anıtkabir (literally, “memorial tomb”) – the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It was opened to public on September 1st, 1953 to honour the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.… Read more
Very surprising release – You Are Here Christmas Istanbul, just when we thought YAHs of this kind are over this year. This gives us hope for more Holiday mugs this year, since it’s only November.
As for the mug, it resembles the regular YAH with the snowman, Christmas tree and some other elements added to it.

Second from the group of two Turkish mugs – You Are Here – Adana.
Adana – is the major city in southern Turkey. At least one point of interest can be identified – Büyük Saat (English: The Great Clock Tower) – the tallest clock tower in Turkey, being 105 ft high. It is located in the old town on Ali Münif Caddesi and was built in 1882.
Two new YAHs were spotted today in Turkey. I guess Starbucks is popular in this country since these are 5th and 6th mugs from this series.
Antalya – is one of the world’s and the Mediterranean’s leading tourist destinations. It attracts 30% of foreign tourists visiting Turkey. We don’t have the picture of the back of the mug yet, so I can only see Düden Waterfalls – a group of waterfalls ending directly in the Mediterranean Sea.… Read more
Even though all attention is now focused on the Disney YAHs, there is one international release which was revealed today. Turkey capital is finally getting own mug from You Are Here Series, yes, I am talking about Ankara. It is also the second largest city in the country, after Istanbul. It was a small town in the beginning of 20th century, but since 1920, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his associates chose it as a center of their resistance movement against the Allies, it grew into what we can see now.… Read more
Starbucks keeps releasing You Are Here mugs like crazy. Here is another one from Bodrum, Turkey. Bodrum is a city-port in southwestern part of Turkey and as many places in this region has rich history. Its ancient name is Halicarnassus and archaeological findings confirm presence of settlements back to fifteenth century BC. Halicarnassus is a hometown for Herodotus and was famous for the tomb of Mausolus, the origin of the word mausoleum, built between 353 BC and 350 BC. Mausoleum at Halicarnassus was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.… Read more
